Change login shell for ssh.students.uni-marburg.de
This form allows you to activate or block your Uni-Account for SSH logins by selecting a special shell. By default, all students accounts have been assigned the rssh shell since 08.10.2002, which means that only SCP and sFTP commands are possible, but not dialog sessions.
Access to the login servers themselves has been secured since 30.06.2022 by the two-factor authentication service (2FA service) of Philipps-Universität Marburg or by public key authentication. It is no longer possible to log in with a password only, see documentation.
